It was one of those days you want to bottle and sell: 80, sunny, breezy enough that the bugs don't get you. At the beach, the sand was warm and the lake was wavy. The kids swam and the dog frolicked. And at home, the Italians were able to just about finish the stoop, despite a brief storm this morning. I'm going to miss those guys! Here's a pic:.
The Italians do beautiful work - what a gorgeous stoop!

What a difference! A really splendid set of stone steps & stoop (say that one fast). I guessed it was cooler because your guys had their long pants on. It also looks like you got rid of the big bushes in the front?

kathy,
yes it's been cooler; glorious, even! Husband sawed off two of the evergreens so the stoneworkers had room to walk around the stoop, but the rest of the shrubs are still there. They will come out soon. I am bidding out the landscaping now and hoping to get some end-of-season sale prices!

You want to work from the best corner and plan to put he cut tiles in the least visible spot.
